Founded in 1994, the Pleasantville Fund for Learning (PFFL) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that provides private funding for public education programs in the Pleasantville School District, through grants to teachers, administrators, and students. The PFFL’s mission is to encourage innovation, extend educational opportunities, and enhance academic programs in the School District. Because of the generosity of supporters in the Pleasantville Community and beyond, the PFFL was able to award $54,018 in Excellence in Education Grants in 2014. The PFFL has proudly partnered on grant funding with other community organizations (BRS PTAPMS PTAPHS PCO,Pleasantville SEPTAPHS FOPA, and Pleasantville AYSO), and is a member of the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce.

THANK YOU! to everyone who attended the 18th Annual Westchester Crossword Tournament.  We are especially grateful to Will Shortz, who donated the entire event’s proceeds (more than $1,000) to the PFFL.

THANK YOU to everyone who attended our Boo Hoo Woo Hoo Breakfast!  It was a great way to start out the 2014-2015 school year.
